~18th Century~
The following photographs are examples of straps used for 18th Century Living History accoutrements. Included are a few examples of how people have attached their straps. As you will notice, leather attachments are sometimes used, but just as often the long braided fringes are used for attaching to powder horns & other accoutrements.
