The art of basket-making........
........another ancient style of weaving in which, upon completion, you have achieved a form of art which is not only beautifully decorative, but is meant to be useful in many different ways. This is my newest outlet of creativity, and as I create new and different pieces for sale I will post them here on the website. From time to time you may find some baskets made by a member of my family, and will be marked as such.  As like everything else you see on my website, (whether it be my work or someone else's) I strive for high quality workmanship.  Thank you for looking!

Gathering Baskets

This basket is truly a gem! Used for a wide variety of things from gathering herbs to hauling, toting or carrying tools and supplies, this style of basket is woven in naturally smoked reeds and finished off with a strap. This is a small "pack-basket" that you can sling over your shoulder or across your back!

 The strap is woven in a wrapped cotton material; it is solid natural with finer threads of green and brown wrapped around the natural cotton thread. 

The dimensions of this basket is approximately 10" in width x about 9.5" in depth and about 7.5" across at the top. 

I currently have 2 of these baskets in stock. They are priced at $50. + s/h.
