~Shayna
L. Matthews~
My
Interest in history was initiated at the early age of 3. Since then I have
traveled to many Eastern Woodlands & various 18th Century related
events throughout the East Coast. Growing up in reenacting, history is in
my blood. I have also come to learn that the art of weaving is also in my
blood; one of my ancestors who came to the Americas early from Wales was a
skilled weaver by profession. It only goes to show that history does
repeat itself. May the legacies of our forefathers be preserved!

Photos taken by my family of our wedding day, while we
decided to have a modern wedding, we chose Historic Rock Ford Plantation for the
event, and we were blessed to have a few of our close friends as members
of my 18th Century Honor Guard. The weather was perfect and it was a
beautiful day for everyone.
