 BROCADES This is a technique of intricate patterns & designs which are individually raised above the rest of the woven threads, creating more of a 3-Dimensional appearance. |
 DOCUMENTED REPRODUCTIONS The patterns on this page are my interpretations of pieces, sketches, descriptions, photos & originals I have been lucky enough to find documentation of, and have reproduced to the best of my ability. |
 STRAIGHT-WEAVING Straight weaving, done on various smaller tabletop looms, has an illusive history; however original woven pieces have been found & documented from early - mid 1800's, and some documented woven sashes & garters similar to this style dating early - mid 1700's. |

 CARDWEAVING The technique of card-weaving is one of the oldest forms of weaving in history as it has been practiced for many thousands of years. The evidence of early card-weaving has been found through many countries. So far a weaving card from a 4th Century B.C. Spanish gravesite has been the earliest evidence found. |
